Fee Earner Profile
- John Wright
John studied law at Manchester Metropolitan University
before undertaking his Legal Practice Course at the same
establishment.
He has previously worked for another City Centre law firm
and has now established himself as a prominent fee earner
at Judge and Partners, priding himself on understanding
an individual client's needs and the sensitivity often
attached to our high value and important cases.
During his time with the firm, John has dealt with a wide
variety of cases ranging from privately funded Public
Order Act offences, to several Trading Standard's matters,
Fraud, Deception and Attempt Murder.
Recent cases include:-
R v A - Breach of trust case involving a major
high street financial institution. High value fraud which
resulted in a successful outcome for the client by way
of a non custodial sentence.
R v P - A man of previous good character, accused
of a Racially Aggravated Public Order Act Offence defended
by Judge and Partners and subsequently acquitted following
Trial.
R v I - A young man of previous good character,
charged with Perverting the Course of Justice, defended
by Judge and Partners throughout culminating in a non
custodial sentence being imposed.
R v B - A self employed market trader, charged
with multiple counterfeit offences, was successfully defended
by Judge and Partner solicitors and received a conditional
discharge.
